Here are a few Details You could go through before planning Your Holidays.Country Italy-         Italy is a small country but with 40 millions tourists every year. It’s the right place where in few days you can see many world heritages. You can remember the number 3. Why? Approx 3 hours is the journey time from one city to another: Rome to Florence is 3 hours, as well as Florence to Venice, Venice to Milan, Rome to Naples. And also the train sector ticket by Eurostar is almost the same from one city to another: around 35 Euro. Ø       Locations & Distances-        Rome: Termini Railways station is in the centre of Rome and many hotels are walking distance. Therefore if your clients are traveling by train you can suggest staying in a nearby hotel. Fiumicino airport is 40 minutes drive from Rome centre. It’s always advisable to offer them a private transfer by car to reach the hotel. Instead for the transfer Station-Hotel you can advise your clients that a taxi transfer will cost much less (around 10 euro) than a private one (around 45 euro). Sightseeing on SIC basis are always available all year and many have pick-up and drop from/to hotel. Vatican tour on SIC always includes guide and entrance ticket, which now is 13 euro. Indian Restaurants are many, and 3 are near Termini Station. We can suggest a nice one which is Himalaya Kashmir or one near the Coliseum (300 mt.), Mother India. Metro line is available in Rome; therefore also if your client stays a bit far from Termini can easily reach all the main attraction by Metro.-         Florence: Florence is a small city. Staying near the station (SMN Santa Maria Novella) means to be a very short distance from the main attractions. If your clients have a hotel near the station please advise them not the take a private transfer, to avoid complaint after. Airport is 30 minutes away from the city, but usually people from international flights do not arrive there. Also in Florence there are some Indian Restaurants and we can suggest Rangoli. Florence is the capital of Tuscany region. From there daily sightseeing are available for the visit of the city, the museum, shopping tour, and of the Chianti Region with wine tasting tours or visit of Siena, San Giminiano, Assisi…One of the most important half day tour is the one to Pisa, starting every day at 1 or 2 pm, according to the season. In Florence there is a leather market in the centre and on the Old Bridge there are several very famous Jewelries since the middle age (1000-1200 AD).-        Venice: The first point about Venice is where to stay. In Venice there are 2 main localities: one is Venice Island and one is Venice-Mestre. Venice Island is the main place to be visited. Venice-Mestre is a town near Venice (around 20 minutes) where many hotels are, but on the mainland not on the island. A bridge connects Mestre with Venice Island. From Mestre are available regular bus, or taxi or private transfers which takes your clients to the port from where there are regular ferry transfers ( Vaporetto) which takes you to St. Marc Square or on others islands of Venice. What is the difference? Staying in Venice Island is better, since you are already near all the main attractions BUT it’s always more expensive and hotels many times are fully booked and with exorbitant prices. Therefore for budget clients is always advisable to stay in Venice-Mestre, cheaper and not far from the Island. All regular sightseeing starts from St. Marc Square. In Venice Island there are no car, so all transfers will be by private boat or ferry. Railway station is in Mestre but also on the Island (Santa Lucia Station). In Venice Island there are no Indian Restaurants, only in Venice-Mestre you can find them.       -    Capri: The island of Capri is located in the gulf of Naples. From Naples arbor it takes just 40 minutes to reach the island by Jetfoil. If you are staying in Naples is very easy to get the the arbor and you can buy a ticket and go on your own to the island. Or there are regular tours, every day departing from Naples Hotels or from Rome (full day sightseeing with Lunch included). During this tour you will be able, along with other people to visit the entire island of Capri and Anacapri (the latter is the name of the village on top of the island). Famous in Capri is the Blue Grotto. It's a grotto in the sea where the water is blue due to the minerals of that place. A boat will take you from the port of Capri till near the grotto and from there a small boat with few people will take you inside the grotto. Amazing experience! For honeymooners could be advisable to stay in a hotel on the island, since it's a very romantic place. Don't forget to buy Lemoncello, which is a liquor made out of lemon fruits, very tasty!    -    Tuscany Region: Always more known also in India, is the Tuscany Region. There are 20 region in Italy and the capital of Tuscany is Florence. Tuscany is famous for the fabulous hills, especially in the area of the Chianti wine. And also for the many medieval cities which are in this area. Tuscany is known also for the many SPA centre like Montecatini. To travel in this region is better by car, mainly self-drive, since car with driver are expensive. Another attraction are the Agriturismo (farm hotels) where you can stay and enjoy local food prepared with products of the farm itself.-     Pisa : The Leaning Tower of Pisa is well known everywhere in the world. If you reach Pisa by train from the station it's very easy to reach the Fields of Miracles where the Tower is. Just go outside the station and catch a bus where is clearly mention the destination that you want. If you are staying in Florence there are everyday regular tour by bus going to Pisa, starting at 1:00pm and returing at 7:00 pm (1:15h drive).         These are few simple information. We hope they will be useful for you. Please give us a feedback to let us know if you want more info also for other destinations, so we will take action accordingly !
